The Bouceel estate lies 18 km from the Mont Saint Michel and dates back to the 12th century. The present castle, I. (listed building) was built in 1763 and has a curving outwards fronton which provides a lot of charm to the facade, and two lower down wings that give it a wide streching.A bloody fight took place here during the french revolution after royalist chief du Boisguy spent the night in the castle on december 5 th 1795.You will have pleasant walks in the english style romantic gardens surrounding the castle. Around, the estate holds large farms, meadow, fields and woods. All of this will transport you back in time and provide you with magical stay.
